In Tennis the technology is an integral part of the ATP, WTA and ITF tennis tours, featuring at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Series, US Open, Australian Open, Wimbledon Championships and all high-profile events. Hawk-Eye is the only ball-tracking device to have passed stringent ITF testing measures. Hawk-Eye’s Cricket System were used by host broadcasters at the 2006 ICC Champion Trophy, the World cup and have been present at major Test and ODI series around the world since 2001. Hawk-Eye offers a unique blend of innovation, experience and accuracy that has revolutionized the sporting world. Hawk-Eye uses six or more computer-linked television cameras situated around the field of play. The computer reads in the video in real time, and tracks the path of the ball on each camera. These six separate views are then combined together to produce an accurate 3D representation of the path of the ball.
